At the end of a busy term, I take a moment to reflect on the many achievements at Tandragee Junior High School. In this season we are reminded of hope, joy, and the love of Christ, and I have gratitude for all that has been accomplished.
I acknowledge the outstanding achievements of our pupils. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the sports field, or through their involvement in extracurricular activities, the talent, dedication, and hard work displayed by our students has been truly inspiring. We are incredibly proud of them.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to our supportive parents and carers. Your encouragement and partnership play an essential role in the development of our young people. Together, we continue to foster a positive learning environment where our pupils can thrive.
To our incredible teachers and staff, whose tireless commitment to nurturing and guiding our students does not go unnoticed. Their passion, care, and dedication make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. Thank you!
At this time of year, we also recognise that for some members of our school community, Christmas can be a challenging time. We offer our prayers and support and trust that, whatever our circumstances, in this Christmas season, we experience the light, the love, grace, and lasting peace of God’s gift - wrapped in swaddling bands and lying in a manger.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
With warmest regards,
C W Brown Principal, Tandragee Junior High School ... See MoreSee Less
In November Farming Club was visited by Mark Wright from Ballylisk of Armagh and today we were lucky to visit their factory for a guided tour. Mark explained who they are, how they started and their journey to making their award winning, hand-made cheeses. He is a fantastic speaker and was extremely generous with his time to share his knowledge, experience and expertise of the entire process to produce their cheeses. We tried to ask questions – but I don’t think Mark left anything out! Farming Club members were very happy to receive one of their Triple Cream cheeses each – and staff at TJHS were absolutely thrilled to devour their ‘fancy’ cheese one breaktime! ... See MoreSee Less
We were delighted to hear that talented Year 10 pupil Savannah was chosen to participate in a NI choir to perform at DisneyLand, Paris a few weeks ago. Savannah began rehearsals in September and travelled to Belfast weekly were she learned seven Christmas carols one being in French language. The group from Northern Ireland then travelled to Disneyland Paris to perform with the Disney Characters on stage to 'Let's Sing Christmas' at the Videopolis Theatre. A once in a lifetime opportunity & a fantastic experience. This is amazing Savannah, we hope you enjoyed every second of this wonderful experience. Well done! ... See MoreSee Less
